Motorized window treatments, done properly.

Who we are

Central Shades is a custom window-treatment company headquartered in Naples, FL, working with homeowners and businesses across Florida. We make roller shades, motorized shades, Roman shades, cellular shades, plantation shutters, faux wood blinds, drapery, exterior screens, hurricane screens and other custom window treatments. Every project runs the same way: a no-obligation in-home consultation, a measured plan, made-to-order fabrication through our sourcing partners, then installation and calibration — with one point of contact throughout, and a reply the same day.

What we do

We lead with motorized treatments: solar, light-filtering, room-darkening and blackout roller shades, cellular/honeycomb shades, custom drapery on motorized tracks, and exterior, lanai and hurricane screen systems. We also fit plantation shutters for the classic architectural look. Every project is made to order and specified for the home in front of us, not off a shelf.

Motorization & smart home

Motorization is our focus. We default to rechargeable motors for finished homes and hardwired where a build, large opening or whole-home control calls for it, then integrate app, voice and scheduled control and calibrate everything in person — not left to guesswork.

Our process

Every project starts with a private in-home consultation and measurement, followed by a measured design plan, made-to-order fabrication through our sourcing partners, and a clean install with motors tuned to your scenes. One dedicated point of contact carries the project from that first visit through final calibration.

Working with the trade

We also run a design-trade program for interior designers, builders, architects, realtors, renovation professionals and property managers, acting as a behind-the-scenes partner on their projects. See the trade program for details.
