Commercial & multi-unit
Window treatments for Florida businesses.
Central Shades provides commercial window-treatment solutions for businesses across Florida from our Naples headquarters. The products are the same ones we fit in homes; what changes is the process around them — a written specification, a measured schedule of every opening, and an install coordinated around a space that usually has to keep working while we do it.
How a commercial project runs
1 · Inquiry
Tell us the space, the number of openings and what the treatments need to solve. We reply the same day and confirm whether we're the right fit before anyone's time is spent.
2 · Specification
We put a written specification together — treatment type, fabric or material, control method, and mounting — per opening type rather than per window, so the same detail repeats predictably.
3 · Measurement
Every opening is measured on site. Commercial buildings rarely repeat exactly, so nominal drawings are a starting point and the measured schedule is what we order from.
4 · Coordination
We work to your schedule and your building's access rules, and coordinate with the other trades whose work touches ours — ceilings, electrical, glazing and millwork.
5 · Installation
Installed and calibrated on site, in phases if the space has to stay in use, with one point of contact throughout the project rather than a different name each week.
What we supply
Which of these suits a given space depends on the glazing, the orientation and how the room is used — so the notes below are general starting points, and the actual recommendation comes out of the specification.
Roller & solar shades
The default in a working space: solar-screen cloth cuts glare on screens and heat at the glass while the outward view is kept.
Explore →Motorized shades & controls
Scenes and schedules move whole elevations at once, so shading doesn't depend on anyone walking the floor.
Explore →Cellular (honeycomb) shades
An insulating air layer at the glass and a soft, diffused light — useful where a room's temperature is hard to hold.
Explore →Roman shades
Soft fabric folds where a space wants to feel residential rather than institutional.
Explore →Plantation shutters
A fitted architectural treatment with tilting louvers — daylight up, sightlines closed, no fabric to replace.
Explore →Faux wood blinds
Practical horizontals for utility areas and damp rooms, where slats wipe clean and lift fully clear of the glass.
Explore →Drapery on motorized tracks
Panels that draw on a schedule, for acoustics, softness and closing a room down in the evening.
Explore →Exterior, solar & hurricane screens
Motorized screens for terraces, courtyards and large openings, plus storm-season systems confirmed per opening.
Explore →Designers, builders & property managers
If you are specifying on behalf of a client rather than for your own space, our trade program is the better door: it is built for interior designers, builders and property managers who need us to work behind the scenes on their project.
Commercial inquiries
Tell us about your space
Send us the space, roughly how many openings are involved and what the treatments need to do — glare, heat, privacy, consistency across a floor, or automation on a schedule. We reply the same day and tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
